You’ll either recognise her from Downton Abbey or Game of Thrones, but she is no longer involved in either show, so she could potentially be heading into battle across space and time very soon. She’s already working with the BBC on the new series of Luther, so the broadcaster might have used that as opportunity to sound her out for the role. ![]() 3. Maisie Williams
The Game of Thrones actress will appear at some point in the current series of Doctor Who, but her role remains a tightly kept secret. One of the rumours is that Maisie is playing a version of the Doctor’s granddaughter Susan – the original companion on the show. If that turns out to be true, there’s plenty of storyline potential in her joining on a full-time basis. The only snag could be her busy schedule with Game of Thrones ![]() 4. Ingrid Oliver
Currently starring in the show as fan favourite character Osgood, Ingrid would be a popular choice if she stepped up from UNIT scientist to full-time companion. Osgood will return from the dead later in series nine (only in Doctor Who!) and the character has got the right sort of adventurous spirit needed for a time traveller.

LONDON, 24 Sept - England coach Stuart Lancaster has officially announced that Owen Farrell and Sam Burgess will start in the the team to play Wales in their Pool A Rugby World Cup 2015 match at Twickenham at 20:00 on Saturday. Burgess will form a midfield partnership with Brad Barritt, who moves to outside centre in place of the injured Jonathan Joseph. Owen Farrell starts at fly-half with George Ford moving to the bench while Billy Vunipola comes in at number eight for Ben Morgan, who is still struggling with a knee injury. James Haskell and Alex Goode are both included in the 23 for the first time at RWC 2015, covering back row and back three respectively. Costa denied the charge, relating to an incident involving Laurent Koscielny during Saturday's 2-0 win over Arsenal. Costa, 26, put his hands in Koscielny's face before clashing with Gabriel, who was sent off but had a three-game ban overturned earlier on Tuesday. In a statement, Chelsea said they were "disappointed" with the verdict. Costa's ban covers Chelsea's League Cup match at Walsall on Wednesday along with Premier League matches against Newcastle and Southampton. Having confirmed the match officials did not see the incident between Costa and Koscielny, the FA supplied video footage to a panel of three former elite referees. Each had to independently rule Costa's actions to be an instant red card for the FA to proceed with the charge. Arsenal defender Gabriel was sent off by referee Mike Dean for violent conduct after raising his leg and appearing to catch Spain international Costa. So Chelsea will lose one of there best players for 3 matches what's all your views on this FANZONE INFORMATIONCardiff Arms Park will be hosting the Cardiff Fanzone which is free to enter and open on match days, and at various times across the six week tournament, providing fans, residents and visitors with the opportunity to enjoy the build-up to matches and join in with the nationwide celebration of rugby.
